Belarusian unitary enterprise Krichevtsementoshifer has commissioned a fourth roofing slates making line with a daily capacity of 5,000 slates, a company representative told Interfax.
The line can produce both riffled and flat slates, the source specified.
This H1 the company increased the output of cement by 21.4% on the year in January-June 2007.
Over the period in question the company produced 452,300 tonnes of cement, the source specified.
High-quality cement production made 67.8% of the overall cement output (М500ДО, М500Д20 types).
The company produced BYR 66.3 billion worth of goods this January-June (18.7% up on the year), including 89,000 tons of cement packed in sacks (25, 50, 1,000 kg), a 45.2% increase on the year.
Krichevtsementnoshifer also produced 35.9 million equivalent roofing slates (5.9% up).
The company exported 50,700 tonnes of cement and 1.7 million roofing slates this January-June, the source reported. 57% of the cement and 100% of the roofing slates was shipped to the Russian Federation. Other destinations of Krichevtsementoshifer exports are the Baltic States.
Domestic sales accounted for 91.2% of the overall sales of the company. As of July 1, the stock of ready goods made 1.6% (against the limit of 20%).
Cement accounted for 76.5% of the overall output of the enterprise.
In January-June 2007 Krichevtsementnoshifer invested BYR 21.8 billion in fixed assets.
The company was set up in 1933. The staff counts 1,400 persons.
