Belarusian unitary enterprise Krichevtsementoshifer produced 1.17 million tones of cement in 2007, or 15.9% up on the year, a company representative told Interfax.
High-quality cement production made 69% of the overall cement output (М500ДО, М500Д20 types).
The company produced 166,600 tons of cement packed in sacks (25, 50, 1,000 kg), a 19% increase on the year.
Krichevtsementnoshifer also produced 80.8 million equivalent roofing slates (17.3% up).
Cement accounted for 80% of the total output of the company.
In January-December 2007 the company turned out BYR 153.5 billion worth of goods, or 17.6% up on the year.
Over the period in question the company exported 103,000 tonnes of cement and 5.5 million equivalent roofing slates. 78% of cement and 100% of roofing slates was exported to Russia. The rest of cement was shipped to the Baltic States.
Domestic sales accounted for 91% of the total sales of Krichevtsementnoshifer in 2007, or 9.5% up.
The return on sales totaled 16.6% in January-November 2007.
The source reminded, that Krichevtsementnoshifer is about to commission a third cement-making furnace. In 2007 the company invested BYR 68 billion in fixed assets.
