The Administration of Sokolinaya Gora District of the Eastern Administrative Okrug of Moscow made a decision to present Mogilevcitizens a bronze bust to Nikolai II as a sign of effective cooperation with the city on the DneprRiver. Fedor Miheenko, the chief deputy of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee informs.
The last Russian Emperor lived in Mogilevin 1915-1917. Here the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-chief was situated. From here Nikolai II commanded the Russian Army during the World War I. It is from Mogilevthat the discredited emperor left on March,8 1917. It was his last way leading to all his family's death.
At present local Administration is considering where the bust to Nikolai II who was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church in 200 will be installed.
