On November 24, the Latvian delegation representing State Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, visited Mogilev College of Higher Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. The Latvian guests were presented the structure, organisation and activities of militia subdivisions of the educational establishment; the parties also discussed and outlined the directions of mutually beneficial cooperation.
According to the director of the State Police College of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Eigars Evardsons, the Latvian police is willing to cooperate in different spheres. In his turn, deputy director of Mogilev College of Higher Education Evgeny Lazakovich stated that the Belarusians are interested in experience interchange in staff training. “We are willing to apply the most progressive ideas of other colleges, and hope that our educational and practical experience will be of use for other colleges”.
