The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko gave the relevant instruction to provide agrarians with the necessary quality forage harvesters. The instruction was given when Alexander Lukashenko was visiting Shklov District, Mogilev region.
While visiting the agricultural company JSC “Alexandriyskoye”, Alexander Lukashenko got familiar with modern technologies, Belarus-made and imported machines used to harvest grass forage.
“This season we have to make the situation clear. It is desirable that we produce the entire range of the necessary forage machines. We should harvest quality forage. It is up to practical people to decide how to achieve the best results. But we should provide them with a rational economic choice. We should count money and produce optimal and efficient machines,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
The President pointed to the quality of manufactured machines. It should be of primary concern: “We don’t need sloppy workmanship”. Alexander Lukashenko asked Leonid Zayats, the Agriculture and Food Minister, to be very principled in that matter and avoid buying hardware of dubious quality.
Alexander Lukashenko was informed about the progress of grass forage harvesting in Mogilev region and Belarus. The President said that the quality of the work, necessary technologies, deadlines, labor discipline were the most important factors because the state of forage influences the health of animals and their productivity. “We need quality forage and you, Alexander Serafimovich (Yakobson, Chairman of the State Control Committee), should keep an eye on it,” said the head of state.
