Mogilev polyclinics №6 won grant for new medical equipment

Mogilev polyclinics №6 has won the grant from Japanese government for purchasing new medical equipment within the frame of the specialised programme aimed at public safety, the head of the healthcare establishment Victor Alexeikov told the correspondent of the site.

The new equipment will promote earlier diagnostics of cardiovascular, oncological, endocrinological diseases. Polyclinics is going to buy portable ultrasonograph, blood bank analyzer, and other equipment.

The Ambassador of Japan to Belarus is to visit Mogilev polyclinics on October 22; the contract on granting about $56,000 will be signed during the visit.

Within the frameworks of the same programme Japan has already allocated funds for several districts having suffered from the Chernobyl catastrophe. But Mogilev polyclinics № 6 is the first Belarusian healthcare establishment having won the grant.
