Mogilev region is a leader in fodder conservation

Mogilev region leads in fodder conservation among other regions - 18.7 centners per a head of livestock; it's four centners more than the rate of the previous year.

This year the areas under one-year lay and permanent grasses were extended by 16% in the region. More lucerne and legume crops will be sown next year. The region use modern technologies in conserving fodder.

Corn also gives much fodder - up to 414 centners per ha at some farms of Mogilev region. The region's average crop yield makes up 304 centners per ha, that is twice as much as that of the previous year.
