Molodechno summed up the results of the boxing championship of Belarus. The event awarded 20 medal sets. The tournament also gathered the athletes of the national team who are getting ready for European tournament in Baku.
Vitaly Bondarenko from Minsk won in the weight category of under 75 kg. Sergey Novikov from Molodechno became the best in the weight category of under 81 kg. Egor Kurbanov from Minsk was number one in the weight category of under 60 kg.
Three medals of the highest standard went to sportsmen from Gomel region. Vladislav Kirilenko showed the best results in the weight category of under 49 kg. Leonid Chernobaev took the first place in the weight category of under 91 kg. Alexander Kaleyev became the best among heavyweights (+91 kg).
The winners of the championship in Belarus are boxers from Minsk region Evgeny Dolgolevets (under 64 kg) and Ilyas Odinayev (under 69 kg) and a boxer from Molodechno Dmitry Asanov (under 56 kg). Ivan Figurenko from Mogilev region took the first prize in the weight category of under 52 kg.
Women-boxers participated in the event, too. Seven medals of the highest standard went to sportswomen from Gomel region: Yana Burim (under 51 kg), Yulia Apanasovich (under 54 kg), Galina Bruevich (under 57 kg), Antonina Aksenova (under 69 kg), Victoria Kebikova (under 75 kg), Alina Veber (under 81 kg), Valeria Mikhalkovich (+81 kg). Alla Yarshevich (60 kg) and Anna Prohorova (64 kg) got two first prizes, too. Anastasia Gotovkina from Vitebsk showed her best a light weight category (48 kg).
Vitaly Bondarenko was announced the best sportsman. Vasily Sorgovitsky from Baranovichi became the best referee.
