Mogilev and Barinas (Venezuela) are going to become twin cities, Mogilev Mayor Viktor Shorikov told reporters after a meeting with representatives of Barinas.
The two cities are expected to sign a corresponding agreement in a year. According to Mogilev mayor, they are going to co-operate in the spheres of trade, economy, culture and education.
In particular, Mogilev architects and construction workers will build a number of dwelling houses in Burinas. Besides, Venezuelan construction materials plants will be fitted with equipment manufactured by Mogilev-based Strommashina.
