Today a bronze winner of the Belarusian championship Mogilev football team “Dnieper” plays with Albanian “Lachi” at 7 p.m. at “Spartak” stadium. On July 1, Mogilev team started playing at Europe League – 2010. The first match of qualification round ended in a draw – 1:1.
The Albanians opened the scoring at the end of the first time, and Dmitry Turlin from the “Dnieper” scored a goal at the end of the second half of the game.
According to the chief coach of the “Dnieper” Andrei Skorobogatko, our team was having the territorial advantage during the whole match, and there were several challenging moments. Unfortunately, the team didn’t manage to benefit from them. “We hadn’t been provided with the detailed information about the competitor, that’s why we had to be very cautious during the first match. Besides, the weather was very hot, and our football players lack active movement. And “Lachi” had two advantageous moments due to counter-attacks”.
However, the coach was pleased with the result, but not with the game itself. “Today we are going to do our best to reach the next round. The team had favorable conditions to get ready properly for the game”, - Andrei Skorobogatko remarked. “In case we succeeded we would play with the Norwegian “Stabeck” next time.”
