The exposition of designers’ New Year trees and tigers – a symbol of 2010 year – opened on December, 16 at Mogilev City Exposition Hall. The exhibits are noted for their originality, authenticity, and creativity.
According to the director of the Exposition Hall Nina Podolskaya, in September “Mogilev City Centre of Culture and Leisure” announced the contest, in which anyone could take part. The projects selected – 95 designers’ New Year trees and 54 tigers – are the vivid example of how one can make decorations using simple and usual household materials.
The results of the contest are to be announced on January, 6: the jury, headed by Marina Nesteruck, the head of Mogilev regional department of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Belarus, will choose those deserving to get prizes, diplomas, presents.
