Mogilev free economic area is planning to attract 40% more investments for the development of resident companies in 2009, head of the FEA Administration Anatoly Bunos told Mogilev Region Administration.
In his words, this year the resident companies of Mogilev FEA are planning to invest BYR 104 billion in the development of their production facilities.
Mogilevkhimvolokno OJSC is planning to draw $53 million of investments, he added.
In addition to attracting investments, the FEA's major objectives in 2009 are to boost the output of goods and services, expand exports, create new jobs, upgrade production facilities and set up new ventures.
In particular, the output of resident companies is expected to grow 63.7%. Exports are expected to rise by 63.2%. There will be created 369 new jobs.
