Cooperation of Belarusian and German twin-cities has an important role in the relations of two countries. It is an opinion of Vladimir Kravtsov, the deputy head of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, expressed by him at the opening of the seventh Belarus-Germany twin-cities meeting.
According to Vladimir Kravtsov, Germany is one of three countries with which Belarus has the largest trade turnover. Mogilev region buys German facilities and technologies. A lot of Belarusian specialists have studied and are studying in Germany. It helps to improve competitiveness of Belarusian economy. "And we hope that in the nearest future our export will be commensurable with German one,"- Vladimir Kravtsov told.
The deputy head of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee thanked Germany for the humanitarian help provided for those who suffered in the result of the Chernobyl tragedy. "We really appreciate humanitarian goods and health rehabilitation you provide our children with. And we hope to continue our cooperation,"- Vladimir Kravtsov noted.
