Mogilev is currently hosting Belarus Cup Open swimming contest, Interfax has learnt from the Local Department for Sports and Tourism.
The tournament is dedicated Belarus’ Master of Spoart Boris Sivitski.
There are representatives of Russia, Moldova and Uzbekistan competing among 227 swimmers, including 12 international masters of sport and 105 sports masters.
The three-day programme includes the following events: backstroke, freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly, relay races.
The swimming contest has been arranged by the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus and the local sport and tourism authority.
