Mogilev Ice-Cream Factory OJSC sold 1,441,000 tonnes of ice-cream under proprietary trademark Lyova in January-October 2007, or 23.7% up on the year, a company representative told Interfax.
While previously 70% of the company's output had been connected with orders of other Belarusian enterprises, this year Mogilev Ice-Cream Factory strives to promote its own trademark.
Today the company produces over 40 kinds of ice-cream, ranging from regular portions to family-size containers (0.5 kg, 1 kg).
This summer Mogilev Ice-Cream Factory expanded product range, adding geography-themed kinds of ice-cream (Africa, Mexico, Tahiti, Japan) and frozen chocolate-glazed curd bars.
Mogilev Ice-Cream Factory was founded in 1991 on the basis of the ice-cream shop of Mogilev Dairy Plant. The company makes ice-cream, chocolate-glazed curd bars and mayonnaise.
The entire product range is certified with STB ISO 9001-2001.
