Mogilev Meat-Packing Plant OJSC increased output by 9.1% on the year in January-October 2007 to BYR 112.2 billion, a company representative told Interfax.
The company's production growth target for 2007 is 7%, the source added.
Over the period in question the company turned out over 10,000 tonnes of sausages and 2,500 tonnes of semi-finished goods. Newly-launched goods accounted for 70% of the output, the source added.
Currently, Mogilev Meat-Packing Plant produces over 350 kinds of foodstuffs, including 250 kinds of sausages.
The company uses solely natural raw stuff without meat substitutes. Over 70% of the meat products is sold on the domestic market. The company has its own distribution network handling over 20% of its output.
In January-October 2007 the company exported $9.6 million worth of goods to the Russian Federation. Russia-bound exports soared due to increased supplies to Moscow and thanks to expanding the commodity distribution network in Smolensk and Bryansk.
Last year the company introduced ISO 9001 quality management system. Mogilev Meat-Packing Plant has presented its produce at numerous exhibitions and won several contests, the source informed.
