By December, 29 in Mogilev region 1.208 citizens are proposed to be the delegates of local councils of the 27th convocation. The information is provided by Alexei Lavrenenok, the secretary of Mogilev regional election committee.
10 candidates are proposed as delegates of the regional council, 277 candidates are nominated as delegates of the district councils, 26 candidates are proposed for the town councils and 895 candidates are nominated for the village councils.
By collection of signatures citizens have nominated 671 candidates, labour collectives – 536 ones. Political parties have nominated 14 candidates: they are candidates from the Communist party of Belarus. 14 candidates were nominated by both means.
The candidates represent different age groups and professions: 5.5 of them are under 30 years old; social sphere workers (education, health care, culture, science) make 30.6%, agriculture – 25.2%; 0.4% (5 candidates) are unemployed. Women-candidates make 49.1%, citizens of the Russian Federation – 0.2%, the delegates of the council in service –36.7%.
The elections that take place on March, 23 are to elect 58 delegates of the regional council, 731 delegates of the district councils, 80 delegates of the town councils and 1,824 delegates of the village councils.
