The consolidated budget of Mogilev Region received BYR 1.8 trillion in January-September 2008 (75.7% of the target), Interfax-West learnt from Vice Chief of the regional finance department Yelena Sergeyenko.
BYR 1,089.2 billion came from the regional budget's revenues and BYR 756.5 billion was allotted by the state budget, the source specified.
Most of the local revenues come from VAT (26.9%), the income tax (24.2%), real estate and land taxes (14.5%) and taxes on profit and incomes (9.6%), the source reported.
The regional budget's expenses totaled BYR 1,826.8 billion, including BYR 1,061.3 billion (58.15) that was invested in the social sector and BYR 511.3 billion (28%).
As of October 1, the accounts payable of budget-sponsored organizations totaled BYR 25.6 billion, while their accounts receivable made BYR 36.4 billion.
