Mogilev region and East Administrative District of Moscow signed the cooperation program over the years 2009-2011. It is the third program of the kind between two regions. Ten heads of ten Moscow’s East Administrative District authorities signed cooperation programs with ten City District Executive Committees of Mogilev region.
Mogilev region’s foreign trade turnover with Moscow in 2006-2008 made $1 bln, Petr Rudnik, the head of Mogilev Region Administration told at the meeting with Moscow delegation. In his words, there are perspectives of future cooperation between huge machinery construction enterprises of Mogilev and Moscow, and in the fields of joint manufacturing, construction business, service industry, and tourism.
According to Nikolai Evtiheev, the prefect of East Administrative District of Moscow, two parties are not ashamed of the work that has been done over 8 years. There is much to tell and share at the Business Cooperation Board of Belarus and Russia that takes place in Mogilev (May, 2009).
