The value of consumer goods produced in Mogilev Region in January-July 2008 increased by 11.6% on the year to reach BYR 1,212.3 billion, the region administration's economic committee told Interfax.
The yearly growth forecast stands at 11%, the source reminded.
Food production grew 16.4% on the year to reach BYR 608.1 billion, while the value of non-foods expanded by 8.5% to BYR 511.9 billion.
Foods account for 50.2% of consumer goods produced in Mogilev Region in January-July 2008.
At the same time, 28 companies based in Mogilev Region (16.6% of the total number of consumer goods producers) reduced their output in January-July, the source informed.
