Mogilev Region enterprises increased the value of commodity exports by 31.3% in January-June 2008 in comparison with this time last year to a total of $911.9 million, an official with the Foreign Trade Department of Mogilev Region Administration told Interfax.
The yearly growth target is 17%, the source reminded.
Russia-bound supplies account for 61.5% of Mogilev Region’s total exports, the CIS states – 14.2%, other foreign states – 24.3%. Imports - 55.8%, 11.5%, 32.7% respectively.
The region ended the period with a trade surplus of $125.4 million.
n January-June goods made in Mogilev Region were exported to 73 countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Lithuania, Germany, Brazil, Poland, Singapore.
