Mogilev Region's industrial output rose by 13.6% on the year in 2007, head of the regional economy committee Nikolai Dudinski told Interfax.
According to the source, the output of consumer goods grew 9.3%, and fixed-capital investments rose by 24.1%.
Exports expanded by 21.1%, the sales of for-fee services grew 12.8%.
In 2007 Mogilev Region commissioned over 432,000 square metres of houses.
The region's agricultural output expanded by 5.5%.
In particular, in 2007 Mogilev Region's farms produced 1.15 million tones of grain, 1.24 million tones of potatoes, 287,000 tonnes of vegetables, 61,000 tonnes of fruit and berries, 154,000 tonnes of sugar beets, 6,300 tonnes of flax fibre, 126,000 tonnes of livestock, 746,000 tonnes of milk and 429 million eggs.
