Mogilev Region commissioned 358.9 thousand square metres of housing in the January-November 2007, which makes 84.4% of the year target and 11.7% up in comparison with January-November 2006, the Committee for housing construction and investments of the regional administration told Interfax.
As much as 164.8 thousand square metres of houses was commissioned in rural areas (121.2% and 6.5% respectively), the source said.
The proportion of housing commissioned in rural areas in the eleven-month period made over 35.4% of the total number of houses made operational in the region.
The share of housing built on bank loans makes 51.8%, investments of private households - 44.8%.
As reported by the committee, a total of BYR 355.3 billion was invested in housing construction in Mogilev Region in January-November 2007 (16.6% of the total value of investments).
