Mogilev Region commissioned 432.1 thousand square metres of housing in the 2007, which makes 101.7% of the year target and 12.6% up in comparison with 2006, the Committee for housing construction and investments of the regional administration told Interfax.
As much as 176.9 thousand square metres of houses was commissioned in rural areas (130.1% of the yearly target), the source said.
The proportion of housing commissioned in rural areas in the eleven-month period made over 30% of the total number of houses made operational in the region.
The share of housing built on bank loans makes 52.2%, investments of private households - 40.4%.
As reported by the committee, a total of BYR 406.8 billion was invested in housing construction in Mogilev Region in January-December 2007 (16.1% of the total value of investments).
