Mogilev region election committee for local Deputies' Council elections of the XXVIIth convocation was formed at the joint session of the presidium of the regional Deputies' Council and Mogilev region executive committee.
The Commission consists of 13 members. Six members represent political parties, public organisations and associations: Veronika Akimova (represents the regional department of Belaya Rus public association), Evgeny Jeremeichick (the regional department of Belarusian Republican Youth Union public association), Sergei Zhuravsky (the regional branch of Communist Party of Belarus), Alexei Lavreneonock (the regional department of the trade union of state and other institutions), Alexander Sharabaiko (Mogilev region branch of Belarusian Peace Fund public association).
Two members represent labour collectives (Valery Berestov is from Mogilev region Central Statistical Board, and Mikhail Tselovalnikov is from Belynichi district branch of Belgosstrakh Belarusian Republican Unitary Insurance Agency), and five members were chosen from the applications having been sent by citizens (Evgeny Alexo, Mariya Bovkunovich, Anatoly Gromov, Anatoly Naumchick, Olga Serbenkova).
In general, 18 members were suggested to be included in the regional commission: four were sent by political parties, five - by public organisations and associations, two - by labour collectives, and seven were suggested by electors' sending applications.
"All legislation norms were observed while discussing and approving the candidates. 15.3% of the chosen members are civil servants, 46.1% represent political parties, public organisations and associations. The major criteria considered were applicants' business proficiency and partaking in the previous election campaigns. The members approved are the very worthy", the head of human resources department of Mogilev region executive committee Alexander Sivaev assured.
