Mogilev region completed harvesting grain and legume crops, governor Petr Rudnik told at today’s enlarged planning meeting. According to the region’s head, agricultural organisations harvested 1,285,000 tonnes of grain; the average crop yield made 40.3 centers per hectare, while the Republic’s average crop yield was 37.6 centers per ha.
Five agricultural organisations of the region made 70 centers per ha; they are: JSC “Alexandriiskoe” (Shklov district) – 80.6 centers per ha, CJSC “Bolshie Slaveni” (Shklov district) – 75.5 centers per ha, CJSC ‘Zarya’ (Mogilev region) – 74.6 centers per ha, PUE “ASB Tsetserino” (Krugloe district) – 70.1 centers per ha, “Gigant” agricultural complex (Bobruisk district) – 70 centers per ha.
Mogilev region’s “pie” makes up 1,380,000 tonnes of grain, when including grain harvested at farms and private gardens. This is the best result the region has ever made. Although, even this record hasn’t given the region a chance to become the leader of Dazhynki-2012, Petr Rudnik stated. “We are to analyze the prospects of increasing output of grain to reach 1,500,000 tonnes till the end of this five-year period”, the governor stressed.
