Mogilev region copes with squally wind consequences

Today Mogilev region copes with consequences caused by the squally wind of 20 meters a second. The storm switched off several transformer stations. And as a result some villages were left without electricity supply.

The wind blew down trees which destroyed electricity lines and damaged roofs of some buildings. According to Olga Nekhoroshih, an inspector of the Training and Propaganda Emergency Situations Centre, electricity lines were damaged in 10 settlements of Kirovsk district, 24 settlements of Krichev district. By 6am July, 26 4 settlement were still without electric supply. Recent information proves completion of electric supply restoring works all over the region. Roof repairing is carried out.
