Thirteen forestries of Mogilev Region doubled timber export in January-August 2007, bringing it to $15 million. The rise is attributed to an expansion of sales markets and an increase in demand for saw materials in non-CIS states.

Over the period in question they planted trees on an area of 8,800 hectares (107% of the target).
