Mogilev region is going to get down to human resources questions in real earnest. According to Vladimir Domanevsky, the governor of Mogilev region, there is a demand in labour resources.
In his words, there is an urgent problem with specialists that are not trained by Mogilev region’s universities. In the public health sphere the observance of requests for doctors makes 33-36%. There are no specialists in gas and heat supply. Soon the higher education establishments will have a placement of graduates. So, the task is to analyze the situations with the specialists in demand.
Target training is also to solve the HR problem. But this mechanism is not working properly at the moment in such fields as housing and communal services, architecture, and construction. It is very important to do professionally oriented work with school leavers and make target training agreements.
Vladimir Domanevsky says that there is a great necessity to study the issue of labour resources replacement. Today Mogilev region faces the deficit of specialists with higher education makes 325 persons, agriculture specialists – 469, transport and communication – 23, housing and communal services – 87, workers – 1,000.
Employment centres should pay more attention to providing people with information. People often get used to working at one job place. But if they are not paid for their work for months some other jobs should be considered and people replaced.
