Mogilev region must have favourable trade balance by 2013 – this objective was set by P. Rudnik at today’s sitting of Mogilev region executive committee dedicated to discussing the programme of socio-economic development of the region in 2011.
Reaching this end should become the priority task for both local administration, and heads of enterprises and organisations.
Establishing new branches of high-tech industry, installing innovation technologies will promote competitiveness of goods and services exported. By the end of 2011 unfavourable trade balance should be reduced to minus $40 mln., and by 2013 Mogilev region must have favourable trade balance. During a five-year period a share of new branches of high-tech industry should make up 20% minimum. To make it a reality the region needs attract foreign capital; thus, next year Mogilev region must attract $567 mln.
