The peculiarities of the Belarusian youth movement and its co-operation with authorities is the topic of the information campaign that is being carried out in Mogilev Region, Interfax learnt from the regional ideology department.
According to the source, about 315 thousand Mogilev Region residents are aged 14-31. 28% of young people live in rural areas, the rest are urban residents.
The region's rate birth reached 9.6% (11,035 newborns) in 2006 (against 9.1% in 2005).
As of July 1, there were over 2,300 unemployed young people in Mogilev Region.
