The head of investigative department of Mogilev region prosecution office Sergei Katrich told the mass media representatives during the briefing about the case started on homicide. Punishment for such crime envisages imprisonment up till 25 years, or life imprisonment or capital punishment.
A partitioned body of a woman was found on March 23 on a bank of a Dnieper river near Fatin st. in Mogilev. The woman turned out to be an unparented alcohol abuser born in 1975.
According to Sergei Katrich, the region hasn’t seen such a horrible crime during last 10 years. The head of investigative department of Mogilev region prosecution office also denied any facts of people disappearing (either women or men) in the city during last week.
