The gross milk yield in Mogilev Region rose by 6.7% on the year in January-September 2007 to reach 460,800 tons, Interfax learnt from the regional committee for agriculture and foodstuffs.
Milk sales grew 6% (376,900 tons), and the average milk yield per cow totalled 3,359 kilos.
According to the source, over the period in question Mogilev Region farms produced over 74,700 tons of cattle and poultry meat, or 4.6% up on the year. The output of eggs stood at 184.6 million.
On the whole, Mogilev Region's agricultural output increased by 10.4% on the year in January-September 2007, the yearly target being 5.5-7%.
