Mogilev Region Governor Boris Batura and Vice Governor of Russia's Penza Region Ivan Kuptsov have met in Mogilev to discuss bilateral co-operation, an Interfax reporter informs.
The parties agreed to expand co-operation in all spheres of economy.
According to the Foreign Trade Department of Mogilev Region Administration, Penza Region accounts for 1% of Mogilev Region's trade with Russia. Last year the trade turnover between two regions totaled $5.2 million, or 31.6% up on the year.
In January-April 2008 the trade turnover shrank by 45.7% on the year to $1 million.
