Mogilev region started large-scale fish breeding project

Mogilev region has started a large-scale fish breeding project; it will let to provide regional shops with 1500 – 2000 kg valuable fish per year.

Construction of a special pond in Belynichi district was the first stage; 230 kg of fish was let there. About 100,000 tons of trout is supposed to breed each year. Five more ponds of the type will be built in the region within the next 5 years; besides, alevin centre will be founded in Gorki.
