As many as 163 industrial enterprises based in Mogilev Region (76.5% of their total number) increased their production volumes in January-March 2006, Interfax learnt from the economy committee of the regional administration.
According to the source, the output of 172 out of 300 most essential goods has grown in Mogilev Region.
In particular, chemical and petrochemical industry raised production volume by 25.7%, mechanical engineering and metal working - 21%, construction materials industry - 31%, glass and china industry - 65%, food industry - 18.8%.
The output of tractor trailers - 90.6%, automobile trailers - 41%, automobile cranes - 42.5%, fertilizing machines - 50.7%, centrifugal pumps - 34.7%, car tyres - 33%, plastic glass - 22%.
61% of the goods produced in Q1 2007 was sold on the domestic market, and 39% was exported (CIS - 29%, Russia - 23.7%).
Newly launched goods accounted for 11.8% of the total industrial output in Mogilev Region in January-March 2007.
