March, 6 Mogilev regional executive committee held the ceremonial reception of women to celebrate the International Women’s Day. 40 best representatives of the female public took part in the event.
According to Valery Malashko, deputy head of the regional executive committee, local authorities do their best to support and develop the institute of family and motherhood. The country runs a number of social programs which refer to family life, children’s birth and upbringing, housing, employment and other.
In Valery Malashko’s words, we are proud of our remarkable fellow countrywomen who take an active part in the political and social life of the country, work hard and responsibly, achieve high results in different spheres of economy, education, science, culture and sports. At the same time our women remain gentle and careful. They bring up intelligent and talented sons and daughters.
Valery Malashko on behalf of Vladimir Domanevsky, chairman of Mogilev regional executive committee, wished the women good health, fulfilment of their wishes, welfare. Valery Malashko awarded two women from Osipovichi district who have given birth to five and more children with the Order of Mother. Natalia Kovalchuk, a cleaner of the joint Belarusian-Bristish OAO “Krovlya”, and Marina Melnik, a housewife, got the Order of Mother. Two more representatives of Mogilev region – Elena Bogdanovich, director of Krasnensky village culture house, Osipovichi district, and Maria Sapego, a parent-teacher of the family children’s home, Krugloye district’s education, sports and tourism department - will get the orders from the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk.
According to the regional labour, employment and social security committee, since 1996 812 mothers of big families have been awarded with the Order of Mother in Mogilev region. Financial incentives of these women are one-time payment of five times the amount of the average subsistence wage fixed before the awarding day. Since February 2015 the amount has made Br7 140 500.
