Mogilev Regional Drama Theatre invites to the first night performance "Madonna, I am so tired!" The opening nights are on July, 28, 29 and 30. The correspondent of the site was informed about it by the chief of the Literary and Drama Department of the theatre Timofei Yarovikov.
The comedy melodrama of two acts "Madonna, I am so tired" is staged by Andrei Guzyi, the stage manager and director of the theater. It is based on the play by a classical author of Italian literature Eduardo de Filippo. A Mogilev actress Elena Dudich (she celebrates her 25th anniversary as an actress) and a cinema and theatre actor from Minsk Petr Yurchenkov are staring in the play.
The play is about a woman and her desperate attempts to marry a man for the sake of her children. An elderly woman who is dying asks the man with whom she has been living for many years to marry her. He agrees and they get married+ But it turns out that she is not going to die at all. Spectators will enjoy the unusual plot and non-trivial theme of the play.
By the way, Petr Yurchenkov was not supposed to star in the play. At first the role was for Alexander Pianzin, an actor from Mogilev Regional Drama Theatre. But he fell ill. And Andrei Guzyi, the stage manager and director of the theater, invited Petr Yurchenkov. He has been acting in this role for 10 years. In 1999 he got a prize as "the best actor" (the play "Philumena Marturano") at the VI International Cinema Festival of the CIS and Baltic countries "Listapad".
