Mogilev Regional Executive Committee presented Mogilev State Economics Technical Vocational College with a bus adapted to transport wheel chair invalids.
According to Petr Rudnik, the head of Mogilev Regional Administration, Mogilev State Economics Technical Vocational College was the right choice. In 1997 the region created a centre for rehabilitation and social adaptation of handicapped children and ones with psychophysical problems. The centre was the first in the republic.
Today 119 children study here. They have opportunities to become carpenters, amenity planting workers, shoe menders, embroiderers, enchasers. At the same time most students with peculiarities study in integrated students’ groups. Over 13 years 1,127 young people with special psychological and physical make-ups graduated from Mogilev State Economics Technical Vocational College. 589 of them are handicapped children. The quality of education they got is proved by the fact that 98.7% of these students are employed.
