The local lore fund of Mogilev regional library named after V.I. Lenin has got electronic copies of 43 rari-ty books dated back to XIX – early XX c.c. These are valuable sources for studying Mogilev province history – the correspondent of the site was told at Mogilev regional library.
It was many-year research work of library staff of Belarusian literature and local lore studies department that led to acquiring the books. After having found the place of storing the books, the staff got into touch with National Library of Belarus where electronic copies of the books were made.
Now Mogilev Regional Library boasts of 10 “Pamyatnye knizshki Mogilevskoy gubernii” (“Memorable books of Mogilev province”), “Alfavitnyi spisok dvoryanskih rodov, vnesennyh v rodoslovnye knigi Mogilevskoy gubernii” (“Alphabet list of noble families put into genealogy books of Mogilev province nobility”), “Volosti i vazshneishie selenia Mogilevskoy gubernii” (“The main districts and settlements of Mogilev province”), etc.
