Mogilevkhlebprodukt is determined to launch a rape seeds procession facility in 2008, a company representative told Interfax. The facility is supposed to process up to 25,000 tonnes of rape seeds a year.
The company is now putting much effort in refreshing its fixed assets, they said.
Last June they commissioned a pre-mix facility (vitamin-enriched fodder) that spawned a mineral additive called mineralovit.
Also, they launched a grain extrusion line last year and a germinated grain processing facility.
The special additives contribute to a higher milk yield at dairy farms and greater daily weight gain at cattle-breeding centres.
Mogilevkhlebprodukt specializes in fodder production for livestock, swine and poultry.
The fodder and flour is mostly marketed domestically.
In 2007 the company produced BYR 50.7 billion worth of commodities, 7.7% up on the year.
The value of consumer goods produced last year stands Armenia BYR 11 billion (3.1% up).
The enterprise was founded in 1951 and went private in 2000.
