The share of newly-launched goods in the total output of Mogilevliftmash UE rose by 16 percentage points on the year in January-September 2008 to reach 67.1%, a company representative told Interfax-West.
The source attributes the rise to the recent comprehensive upgrading program. In January-September the company invested BYR 33.5 nil in modernisation
Currently Mogilevliftmash produces over 70 elevator models, including 10 with CE marking.
Over the period in question the company made BYR 277.5 billion worth of goods (43.3% up), the source specified. The output of consumer goods rose by 15.4% to reach BYR 18.5 billion.
Over the period in question the company made 6,506 elevators (32.8% up). Exports grew 47.5% on the year in January-September to reach $111.8 million.
Mogilevliftmash makes a wide range of passenger elevators (400-1,000 kg), cargo elevators (100-6,300 kg), cargo-passenger, hospital and specific elevators. Besides, the enterprise rolls out equipment and components for replacement and modernisation.
