Mogilev’s writer and historian Nikolai Borisenko becomes a laureate of the II National Literature Prize

Mogilev’s writer and historian Nikolai Borisenko became a laureate of the II National Literature Prize. The awarding took place in Rogachev September 4 at the event celebrating Belarusian Written Language Day. The best authors were named in 7 nominations.

Nikolai Borisenko’s book “Echo of “The Great War” in Eastern Belarus 1914-1918” became the best in the nomination “The best publicist work”. The work tells the audience about hard living conditions of local people and refugees, hospital trains in the East of Belarus.

The contest is organized by the Information Ministry of Belarus. The authors of literature works published in 2015 competed in it. The winners were awarded with diplomas, symbols of the contest and prizes.
