Mogilev’s officials improved their work with population’s applications. The fact was mentioned by Petr Rudnik, the head of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee at the press-conference.
To achieve these results some unpopular measures were taken and a number of officials were reprimanded, some of them were even dismissed. The question of population’s calls and applications are under the governor’s control. The question is discussed at the weekly sessions of the regional administration in order to solve citizens’ problems as soon as possible. In 2010 Mogilev Regional Executive Committee got 3,974 applications from citizens. It is 950 applications more comparing with the same period of 2009. The number of applications increased. It is the result of more productive work with the applications. People trust local authorities. At the same time it means that there is much to be done to minimize the number of citizens’ complaints.
“The task of every official is to pay attention to every application, to solve citizens’ problems in the quickest way,” – Petr Rudnik said.
