Mogilevtransmash, a Mogilev-based subsidiary of Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) has boosted commodity output by 23.3% on the year to BYR 141.3 billion, a company representative told Interfax.
For production increase the company relies on retooling, new technologies and personnel management.
Mogilevtransmash produced 65-70% of all MAZ trailers. MAZ plans to use the production facilities of the Mogilev-base enterprise for assembling truck trailers.
After moving trailer production to Mogilev, MAZ is determined to use the vacant premises for expanding bus production.
In 2006 Mogilevtransmash produced 452 cranes and hopes to release 567 in 2007.
The company enjoys a stable contract portfolio with the CIS states.
Mogilevtransmash was established in 1982 to merge with MAZ in February 2005.
