The International Festival of animated films Animayovka - 2015, Mogilev
Mogilev hosts The International Festival of Animated Films Animayovka - 2015 on September 9-13. The information was provided at the event's coordination committee.
More than 225 films from 43 countries, including Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Belarus, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Hungary and others claimed participation in Aminayovka. Australia, Greece, Israel, Mexico, Romania, South Korea, Japan will take part in the festival for the first time. According to the decision of the expert commission, 79 films from 33 countries will be featured. The International jury of the festival will be headed by Honored Artist of Russia, professor of All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov Leonid Nosyrev.
The winners will receive prizes and diplomas in six nominations: "The Best Film" (Grand Prix), "The Best Film For Children", "The Best Experimental Film", "The Best Artistic Solution", "The Best Début", "To the Master".
The agenda of the Festival traditionally includes the contest of animated films made by children (this year 51 films from six countries will compete in it), and the contest of children's decorative and applied arts "My Favourite Animated Film", where Belarus, Kazakhstan, Latvia have claimed 338 works. Besides, there will be screening of films from both competition and non-competition programs, master- classes and meetings with famous film directors, contests, theatrical performances.
This year's special guests are: Honored Artist of Russia, director, scriptwriter, artistic managing director of Eralash Boris Grachevsky, actress Alina Kukushkina (dubbing Masha in "Masha and The Bear" animated serial), coordinator of the international social project Natalia Faustova, and others.
The festive opening of Animayovka takes place at 3p.m. on September 10 at Zvezd Square (Stars' Square).
