More than 37,000 young Mogilevers will get New Year presents during the Republican charitable action “Our Children”. The information was provided by deputy chairman of Mogilev city executive committee Andrei Kuntsevich.
Br2.177 bln has been allocated from the budget for this purpose. The presents are for children attending nursery schools and pupils of primary school. Besides, more than 5000 presents will be given to orphans, adopted children and children from needy families or families with many children, disabled children, and children of vulnerable social group, as well those from child care centres rehabilitation and the centre of correctional education.
The action is on on December 10 - January 10. Traditionally, the chairman of Mogilev city executive committee Vladimir Tsumarev will visit the centre of correctional education and rehabilitation.
Pupils of different secondary schools will also take part in the action. Pupils of Mogilev gymnasium №1 and "Yunost" centre will go to Mogilev special needs school. Students of the BRU lyceum and "Vdokhnovenie" centre will take part in the festivities organised at the specialised secondary school, while pupils of gymnasium №2 will visit the city centre of correctional education and rehabilitation.
The start to new year festivities will be given on December 11, when festive illumination will be lit up. On January 1, 2016 young Mogilevers will be welcomed to take part in the festivities at Komsomolsky park. This year the city will hold the ball of talents "New Year Journey with Mogislav". On January 14 the Hall of Mogilev History will gather 30 talented children and teenagers - winners of school subject competitions, sportsmen, pupils of arts schools, etc.
