Demand still prevails over supply at the labour market of Mogilev: more than 5.5 thousand of unemployed were registered in Mogilev region as of July 16, while there were only 3.3 thousand of vacant jobs. The information was provided at the labour, employment and social security committee of Mogilev region executive committee.
Specialists in the field of agriculture and processing industry are in the greatest demand - vacancies make up 22.9% and 21.7% of the total number respectively. The jobs of doctors, medical nurses, teachers, agronomists, zootechnitians, engineers, milkers, tractor operators, drivers enjoy the highest demand.
Workers in construction field are also in need. There are vacancies of bricklayers, roofers, crane operators, carpenters, electrical/gas welders.
At the same time, the demand for manual jobs is still very low. More than 300 unemployed that didn't have any profession or trade were registered in January-June, specialists stressed.
