On November 26-28, Mogilev hosts the Belarusian - Russian Forum of Young Journalists "General Outlook on Future" that will gather more than 150 participants. The information was provided by specialists of ideology, culture and youth department of Mogilev region executive committee's.
The forum will gather Belarusian and Russian journalists under 31, as well as professional journalists, media experts, political analysts, heads of the mass media agencies.
Media representatives will hold master classes for young participants: "The future of the regional and corporative press at modern media-market", "Integration of the media and social media", "Modern tendencies in the sphere of the media:" convergence, multimedia and interactive capabilities". During the topical discussion the Forum participants will discuss the challenges and opportunities of modern media space. The discussion will be chaired by the editor-in-chief of Belaruskaya Dumka Vadim Gigin and the editor of Argumenty i Fakty in Belarus Igor Sokolov. Mogilev TV and Radio Station will present the project "Perezagruzka" to reflect on experiences of the respective TV-show.
An award ceremony "Debut" will be held to honour outstanding reporters, observers, news photographers, radio and TV hosts of the both countries. The Forum participants will visit the Museum of Mogilev History, "Buinichi Field" Memorial Complex, zoological gardens, Belarusian Ethnographic Village of the XIXth c., they will be received by Mogilev region executive committee's chairman Petr Rudnik.
The Belarusian - Russian Forum of Young Journalists aims at enhancing qualifications of young journalists, developing professional and international communication skills, developing the united media community of Belarus and Russia. The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus, the Union State Permanent Committee, the Belarusian Union of Journalists, the Belarusian Republican Youth Union and Mogilev Region Executive Committee under the auspices of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus and the Embassy of Belarus in Russia.
