Mstislavl Art Festival opens with the program “Chopin in Belarusian Music Culture”

September, 17-18 Mstislavl holds the IX Art Festival named after People’s artist Nikolai Churkin.

The festival opens with the program “Chopin in Belarusian Music Culture” at Mstislavl District Culture House. The program is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Chopin’s birthday. A laureate of International and National competitions Dasha Moroz and a string band of the honored company “National Concert Band of Belarus” will take part in the program. Leading and famous bands from Belarus, Russia and Baltic Countries are also invited to the festival.

The festival includes meetings, readings, master-classes, concerts and exhibitions. September, 18 there is a chamber concert program “XX century music in Nikolai Churkin’s art Motrherland”. And traditionally “National Concert Band of Belarus” directed by People’s artist, Professor Mikhail Finberg will present Mstislavl citizens a wonderful performance with participation of Belarusian pop-stars.
